“Prem Kapoor cheej hi aisi hai, ki har koi Prem Kapoor banna chahta hai” and thus enters Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who will soon be seen in an interesting cameo appearance in the popular fiction show on COLORS, ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’.
The sun had set a while back, the crew and actors were drained out, until at sharp 11.30 pm a ray of light appeared! None other than ‘BHAI’ of Bollywood bringing with him an aura of class, style, love, charm and much of excitement!
Although Salman’s entry in the show is a part of his promotion activity for the upcoming film ‘Ready’…his role in this show is made for a rather interesting interlude in the story as he plays cupid and gives Diggu ( Adesh Chowdhury) tips to romance his lady love Nakusha (Mahhi Vij).
Actress Mahhi Vij was all excited to work again with his favorite Bollywood superstar Salman, she said “It was so exciting to have Salman back again on the sets of Laagi . He is such a big star and yet he is so down to earth. He’s a true professional, multitasker as he came in late night and despite that gave a perfect take wrapped up the shoot quickly and proceeded for his next work destination.”
Diggu played by Aadesh says, “I was really nervous before shooting with Sallu, but once I started shooting he made us feel so comfortable, nothing seemed impossible! Moreover, I felt out of the world when Sallu hugged me… also we just bonded instantly as he could relate me with his character in “Wanted” and taught me some Bhaigiri!”
As the episode goes, Salman meets Nakusha and Diggu in the temple where Digu has taken Nakusha to pray. When Nakusha comes out with her pooja ki thali and offers prasad to Diggu he refuses saying he doesn’t believe in God. Seeing Nakusha’s expression of sadness, Salman picks up the prasad and also asks Diggu to eat it albeit thinking of it only as a sweetmeat. When Digu does so, Salman leans in and mentions to Digu how he can smell love blossoming between Diggu and Nakusha, thus leaving them both stunned.
